We have some lovely colors in fall here, but it seems like they only last for two weeks and then all the leaves fall off the trees in one day. Today, the trees are bare in this spot. This is what I saw last week.

I've never heard of this marsh. Where is it in relation to Madison? I wonder if you've ever been to the Horicon Marsh.

I have never been to Horicon, but Cherokee Marsh is just north of the airport in Madison :)

Oh gosh, you have got to see it. The best place to start is the International Education Center on Hwy 28, between Mayville and Horicon.
